Viagra for Women

Viagra is an oral treatment drug helping erectile dysfunction in men. When any man starts taking Viagra, it increases his sex stimulation by helping to attain an erection and in sustaining it. The use of Viagra does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases such as Hepatitis and HIV. But it guarantees a healthier lovemaking. When man does not enjoy his sex life due to impotence it is usually because of erectile dysfunction. This problem spoils the fun in bed between the couple. The use of Viagra cures impotency, and comes as a helping drug for older men especially. The other name of Viagra is Sildenafil, commonly known among people.

Effects of Viagra on women have no confirmation at present, and its studies are still under way. Some physicians have suggested the use of Viagra for women but the result is unclear, whether it gives sexual pleasure to them or not. It is too early to know the effects of Viagra for women or to state its side effect. Some researchers have put forward their opinion regarding its use for women saying that Viagra does not have any effect on the woman’s libido.

The use of Viagra helps men in penis erection as blood vessels are expanded, which helps in erection during sex, and in case of women, the vagina is lubricated which helps in preparation for intercourse. The women who have not been getting orgasms in the recent past can possible improve their sex life with the use of Viagra.

The use of Viagra increases the blood flow to the genital area, and the penis and the clitoris are equivalent organs. The use of Viagra can help penis erection then why can the clitoris in females not be benefited by it? Clitoris erection is important in female orgasm just as it is for male. A few studies on the use of Viagra by women have shed some light on the matter. The most important study was done by a researcher on thirty three post-menopause women complaining about sexual dysfunction. These women were asked to use Viagra for three months, to arouse desire during the process of intercourse. This drug helped in increasing blood flow to the clitoris of the woman, and in drawing pleasure out of her intercourse. Viagra does not help in arousing woman if problems are emotional or psychological.

But on the flip side, it resulted in discomfort in the clitoral function in females, as well as dizziness, headache and hypersensitivity. The use of Viagra needs consultation from the physician and its use without any consultation may take a weird turn. The use of Viagra helps in penis erection but when a normal man having no erectile dysfunction uses it, it turns out to be more painful for him.

Even though Viagra has been very effective in case of treating erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in men, it is early to determine the drug’s effects on women. Many women have been interested in the use of the drug, but its medical effectiveness is still to be proved.
